Barrier Free (Accessible) Parking
There are designated accessible spaces located throughout the campus. Please see the campus map of parking lots, located on this web site.
Those individuals who do not have a UofT parking permit, but possess an Accessible Parking Permits (APP), are still required to pay parking fees even when parked in an accessible parking space or any other parking space on campus.
Persons with the Provincial Ministry of Transportation APP may park in designated areas on City of Toronto streets free of charge.
For more information, see: www.toronto.ca/transportation/parking/disabled_parking.htm
If you wish to purchase a UofT parking permit, please provide a copy of your APP to Parking Services staff when making your request. UofT parking permit holders who have an APP may park in designated accessible parking spaces in U of T parking lots. Any vehicle parked illegally in these specially designated spaces will be ticketed and/or towed.
For students with disability-related concerns regarding (1) moving between classes and/or (2) moving between home and campus, please contact Accessibility Services (416) 978-8060 to discuss options that may be available.
Faculty/staff requiring parking accommodations may contact Health & Well-Being at (416)978-2149 for special parking arrangements.
