Santa Claus Parade Road & Parking Facilities Closure

Due to the annual City of Toronto Santa Claus Parade and Holly Jolly Fun Run on November 23-24, 2023, there will be road closures, resulting in delays on the roads surrounding campus. Additionally, multiple parking facilities will be inaccessible.

Road closures will begin on Saturday November 23^rd at 5:00am. The closures will expand to other locations concluding at 6:00pm on Sunday November 24^th.

Most importantly, as a result of the new parade route including St. George Street, several of our parking facilities will be inaccessible. Vehicles will be unable to enter or exit the following facilities during the parade:

1. Tower Rd
2. 107 St. George Garage (Lot P – Rotman building)
3. 7 Hart House Circle (Lot U – Hart House)
4. 35 Hart House Circle Garage (Lot R – Landmark)
5. 78 Queens Park Crescent

Please take care to review the map of the parade route and the provided closure times (see below) to confirm if alternate routes will be necessary to reach your destination.

As off-hours parking privileges apply, permit holders are welcome to park at the most convenient location (except for 24hr reserve spaces). For any affected 24HR Non-Enforced permit holders, please reach out to Transportation Services to arrange displacement permits for individuals needing parking on this day.
