Types of Permits
reserved
Permit holders have the exclusive use of a designated space during normal working hours (7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
lot reserved
Permit holders park in a specified area, or lot, during normal working hours (7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) but not in a specific space in the lot.
Permit Rates
Applies to permits purchased within the period of May 01, 2026 to April 30, 2027, inclusive. Rates include HST.
Permit rates are automatically prorated on the 16th of the current month and 1st of the following month.

Regulations
The student rules and regulations are outlined in the student permits section of the Parking Regulations.
- A limited number of student permits are issued on a first-come-first-served basis to students holding valid student cards.
- Student parking permits are only valid anytime of the week or day for the designated location. If a student parking permit holder does not park in his/her applicable area during working hours, he/she will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
- Student permits are valid only at the campus where they were issued.

Online Purchase
IMPORTANT! MUST BE READ BEFORE APPLYING:
- The purchase of a parking permit indicates your acknowledgement and understanding of, and agreement to abide by, the University of Toronto Transportation Services’ Parking Regulations. A copy is available online (PDF format).
- Only one license plate can be registered, and active, in your account at any given time. Permit holders have a maximum of 7 changes per last 7 days. It is the permit holder’s sole responsibility to ensure the license plate of the vehicle they are parking on campus is registered in their account (changes must be made in advance of parking on campus). Failure to do so can result in a ticket (Parking Violation Notice) being issued.
- A valid UTOR ID login and password is required to access the online permit portal. If you do not have a UTOR ID, please contact the Information Commons Help Desk.
- Please review the location and pricing details on this page prior to proceeding with your purchase.
- Payment online is by Visa, MasterCard, and American Express only.
- Once your have received an authorization number, this confirms your purchase has been successfully processed.
- By applying for a parking permit, the applicant acknowledges these aforementioned conditions.

Cancellation Policy
Permit holders may submit a cancellation request (either online or by downloading the fillable cancellation form, electronically completing & signing it) for their permit at any time. Cancellation requests must be received by the Transportation Services office on or before the last business day of the month, during our normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5pm (summer hours in the months of July and August are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:30), so there will be no charge for the following month. Meaning, if the last day(s) of the month falls on a weekend or statutory/University holiday (i.e. typical days our office is closed) and the form is submitted on such a date, the submission will be considered past due and parking fees will still apply for the following month.
